Look around, and you’ll find several highly visible landmarks that anchor Volusia County’s stories — museums, historic homes, archives, theaters, and filming locations.

- Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Beach. The county’s most famous landmark and frequent film/set location for motorsports sequences and commercial shoots. 1801 W International Speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114
- Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum, Ponce Inlet. Florida’s tallest lighthouse and a maritime museum whose exhibits interpret local shipwreck history — including artifacts and interpretation tied to Stephen Crane’s SS Commodore experience that inspired “The Open Boat.” 4931 S Peninsula Dr, Ponce Inlet, FL 32127
- Spec Martin Memorial Stadium, DeLand. The local football stadium used as a filming location for game scenes in The Waterboy (1998). 260 E Euclid Ave, DeLand, FL 32724
